The Delightful Old Town

Casco Antiguo is a whitewashed old town, and is a pretty place to explore if you want a break from the beach. It is partly framed by 10th-century castle walls, giving an insight into its Arab heritage. Narrow cobbled streets wind beneath the balconies of traditional Spanish houses.
